The goals of this week was to take monochromatic photos. This means that you take photos of the same color. I focused on the color yellow and the photos above clearly show the yellow outstanding from its background.

These pictures are examples of the rule of composition of pattern and repetition. These are patterns because they repeat the same shape over an over again. The first picture of the bricks repeat the same brick pattern consecutively and the picture of the wood repeats the same columns with the same amount of space in between each making it a pattern as well.

This week I learned how to use forced perspective to manipulate how someone views a photo. In order to do this, the objects in the photo are at different distances and the photo is taken at a specific perspective to trick the viewer's eye. The aperture of the camera had to be changed to make the object closest to the camera clear as well as the background.

This week the assignment was photojournalism and had to capture photos that tell a story within them. These photos were easier to take then I thought it would since they were all taken at my house. There were more props and interesting settings in and around my house that told clear stories. I believe that I was very successful at completing this assignment and had a lot of fun doing it.
